Comments: This copy is in better than acceptable condition. I listed it as same because it has bumped edges top/bottom with tiny smooth-out dog-ears. Otherwise, no visible markings, highlights, underlining, tears to text. Tight spine. No Dust Jacket. Soft Cover has tiny chip on top spine, with lots of shelf/edge wear. Apart from cover and minor flaws, one can get a lot of usage from this very interesting copy, worth having at an affordable price. (L5-25)

Rebecca Ann Parker is now the president of Starr King - the Unitarian Universalist seminary at Berkeley. The collection of essays in this volume touch on a number of different issues. They are thought provoking and many of them heart wrenching. I found myself crying as I read many of the essays. Yet, as the title of the collection suggests, ultimately, the reader comes away with hope and, at least for me, a renewed dedication to engage in making the world a blessed place that is open and welcoming to all people. This is simply a remarkable set of essays and anyone who is concerned with liberal religion, diversity, or issues of social justice needs to read this volume.
