Amazing amount of information that is now at the reach of everyone- all in one easy-to-read book!

This fellow, Dr. Donley has conducted a true masterpiece of writings, bringing together a wealth of information and knowledge in a single book of less than three hundred pages. This one book pours out volumes of insight and majestic findings that leaves the reader overwhelmingly thunderstrucked. The best of all is, the virtuoso Dr. Donley gives you well over one hundred verifiable sources to back his findings.
This book is a rare treasure of information compiled in a very alluring and delighful fashion.
Don't pick up this book too lightly if you do not have the time to read it, because, once you start the first chapter, you will passionately want to devour it nonstop!

This book is without real logic or substantiation of the statements made within it. It is written so devoid of true reasoning that only a gullible reader or child would take the statements made within the pages as truths. That the author purports to to be an authority in Biblical studies makes this book a total travesty. He takes passages from the Bible, then makes statements of various other histories that are similar in the time, place or nature of the story or myth, and then concludes that therefore the passage from the Bible is factual. Not quite, Mr. Ph.D. There is too much good writing out there to waste time on this one.

This is not a book that covers the history of the Bible. It is a book that defends the protestant faith. It didn't cover historic or even logical reasoning. It simply ties out of contect scriptures to a variety of protestant tenants.
If you want a book dealing with the history of the Bible, choose a different text.

This is one of the finest books on Biblical topics. It has to rate at the top along with other classical works of history, Biblical studies, and archaeology. This book exudes excitement and passion. It is a work that is extremely well researched, easy to read, and uniquely written in that it is a book for the scholar or the schoolboy, i.e., it is for everyone. To make it readable and understandable to a wide and general audience is quite a talent! The book covers a wide gambit of literary, historical, archaeological, and scientific material that is very well organized. What makes this work exceptional is that the author presents the material in such a way that it "grabs" you and keeps your interest--it makes you want more! An amazing feature of this book is that as you read the work it is as if the author is right there with you personally teaching you the material. The author does not waste time with unnecessary triva, but gets right to the point and tells it like it is. It would be great for families to read together--making it a wonderful addition to anyone's library collection. It is also a great gift item. After some personal research, it was discovered that the author's six degrees include an M.Lett (Masters of Letters) from The University of Birmingham, England, with doctoral work at Oxford University, England. His PhD is from The University of Wales in the United Kingdom, which is a sister university of Oxford, Cambridge, etc.--i.e., from the famous British University system. A VERY impressive academic background! This author IS quite the scholar. Hopefully, Adams Media or some other publishing company will continue to publish this author's works! We are ready for more!
